■20200507 Weekday restart

Weekdays have begun. They are usual days.
Then, after spending the morning, I thought, "It is important to enjoy this kind of everyday life." Keep in mind that "enjoy everyday things".
While continuing my usual work, I find small things that are fun and that enhance me. In addition, I will spend with this feeling.
This blog started out because I wanted to write that kind of thing.
This year, it will be a weekday restart from a different GW, but let's do our best again.

I have two yamaha sitent guitars. One is nylon strings type and the other is steel string type.

However, I have been playing only the nylon strings guitar for the last few years.

I play the guitar for about 30 to 60 minutes before going to bed every day, but even with this much time, the tension on the steel strings makes my fingertips hard. So I choose a soft nylon string.

However, I also like the sound of steel strings as a tone. So I wondered if I could play it more opportunities.

The reason I don't play is the strong tension of the strings. So I think that it is useful to use soft strings. The string I am currently using is a light gauge. The size is from 0.12. So, using a custom light (from 0.11) or an extra light (0.10) should be a lot easier.

However, this may not workl.

A long time ago, I used a normal acoustic guitar, for the same reason, I tried adding a compound gauge. But this time it was completely useless.

First of all, it felt like the sound didn't go into the guitar, and I didn't feel comfortable playing it.

In addition, the sound was flickering, it was like a direct sound of an electric guitar, and I didn't like the timbre either.

If the same goes for it, it will fail.

Thinking above, I was searching for a string on the Internet, but I suddenly noticed "half step down tuning." .

Oh ... first let's try this.

Even if the strings remain the same, if the tuning is lowered, the tension will drop. Isn't that enough?

It's a great answer. It became easier to play, and the tone wasn't as bad as I expected. It was rather calm and I liked it.
So I played it for about an hour with fun.
In this way, the steel strings silent guitar will be played more time to play.

And then, next time I change the strings, try using a custom light gauge.
