■Study of tone making of the silent guitar

Today is also a “at home holiday”.
Today, I studied the tone making of a silent guitar.
I have two silent guitars. It is Yamaha's silent guitar and traveler's guitar “ultra light”, which is used during business trips.

I always use Yamaha's silent guitar, but I tried to bring a traveler guitar closer to this sound quality and playing feel.

I usually connect a Yamaha silent guitar directly to the same Yamaha VA10, an old 10 watt amp, and then I can make almost any sound I like, with the equalizer and reverb on the guitar side.

Although it is a traveler guitar here, the pickup on the guitar side is a passive type piezo without an equalizer or effector. Therefore, if I connect it to the amplifier as it is, I cannot compare the sound quality of Yamaha's silent guitar.
So, I used BOSS's AD-5 effector for electric acoustics to make adjustments with the reverb, chorus, and equalizer.

As a result, after all, I couldn't create the same playing feel as Yamaha's silent guitar.
What is different is the difference in the sounds (signals) coming out of the guitar itself.
I realized that the difference cannot be completely compensated by the effector. Well, that's a convincing result. (Obviously ...)

However, there is no correct answer to the tone. For the traveler guitar, it is sufficient to create a tone similar to that of a traveler guitar. That's it, let's work on it again.

While I was thinking about it, I liked the sound with reverb and chorus, that is, the sound coming out of the amplifier.
And since I want to keep the equipment as simple as possible, it would be okay if I could make one tone that I liked with only a silent guitar and an amp that could make tones.
From that perspective, I'll try to find a guitar amp.
