在宅勤務が続いている。
新型コロナウィルスの対応は厳しいが、「在宅勤務という形を考える」という意味では、実はある意味チャンスだと思う。
なにしろ今回のこの在宅勤務は、自分の会社だけ、ではなく日本全体、いや、世界全体で一斉に取り組まねばならないこと、となったのだから。
もし、こういう機会がなかったら、自分はおそらく定年退職まで、在宅勤務という勤務形態を経験することはなかったであろう。
まず、在宅勤務でのメリットは、通勤時間がなくなる、ということ。これにより、相当の時間がセーブされることとなる。また、そのための燃料消費もいらなくなる。
もしこれで仕事が回るのであれば、どれくらいの無駄時間と燃料費が削減されるのか、とても興味深い。
また、この時間短縮というのは、通勤時間に限らない、ということだ。会社の中での移動時間も不要となる。実は業務効率はこの点のみ考えればあがると思う。
そうなると、「なぜ面着が必要なのか」とのことを考えてしまう。
もうすでにいろいろ考えられているだろうが、現在、ICT技術も相当便利になっており、「みんなでホワイトボードの内容を共有したいから」といった理由は、もうなくなると思う。
このようなことを、「できればいいな」ではなくて、「今考えねばならない」としてしまったのが今回の新型コロナだと思う。
そして、この点はチャンスととらえるべきと思う。
いろいろ考えてみよう。
Work from home by influence of COVID-19
Work from home continues.
Although COVID-19 is difficult to deal with, in the sense of “thinking about the form of working from home”, I think it is actually an opportunity.
After all, this work from home has to be tackled not only by my own company, but by all of Japan, no, all of the world.
If I hadn't had such an opportunity, I would probably never have experienced the work-at-home mode until I retired.
First of all, the advantage of working from home is that commuting time is exhausted. This saves a considerable amount of time. In addition, fuel consumption for that is also unnecessary.
If it does work, how much wasted time and fuel costs will be saved is very interesting.
Also, this reduction in time is not limited to commuting time. Travel time within the company is also unnecessary. Actually, I think that work efficiency will increase if only this point is considered.
Then, I wonder, "Why do you need a face to face meeting?"
Although many things may have already been considered, ICT technology is now quite convenient, and I think there is no reason to say that "everyone wants to share the contents of the whiteboard."
I think that the new Corona this time is that I have to think about such things as "I have to think about it now" rather than "I wish I could".
And I think this point should be taken as an opportunity.
Let's think about various things.
